Participant Information

Below is a summary of some of the important information you might need when attending AD/PD™ 2024 in Lisbon.

VENUE

Lisbon Congress Centre,

PRE-PAID REGISTRATION, FACULTY DESK AND NAME BADGES

  • A confirmation letter with a barcode will be sent to all participants a few days prior to the Congress
  • Please bring your confirmation letter with you to the Congress to enable you to collect your registration materials from the prepaid registration stations located in the Registration Area of the venue.
  • If you do not receive a confirmation letter and barcode, do not worry, you will still be able to use the self-service machines by typing your full name into the machine. Hostesses will be in the Registration Area to assist you.

FACULTY REGISTRATION DESK

  • If you are a Board, Committee Member or Faculty Member, you do not need a barcode letter, instead we shall wait for you at the VIP Faculty Desk to provide you with your name badge.

BADGES

  • Upon registration, you will receive your name badge. You are kindly requested to wear your badge during all Congress sessions and events.

 

  • LANGUAGE:

The official language of the conference is English.

PRE-CONFERENCE SYMPOSIUM

The AD/PD™ 2024 program will also include a Pre-Conference SYMPOSIA on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, for all registered participants onsite.

CME AND CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE

After the Congress you can download your CME/Certificate of Attendance via the link that can be found here.

WIFI

Free WiFi will be available in the public spaces at the Conference Centre. Please be aware that public WiFi capacity is always limited and therefore restricted to email and web browsing activity.

The Virtual Conference Platform will be accessible from March 5, 06:00 AM, UTC Please do not sign in before this time as you will not have full access to the platform if you do.

Log in Details will be sent to you a few days before the Conference. If you did not receive your credentials, please contact: reg_adpd@kenes.com

Upon entering this Conference your presence is logged to the server. If you choose to enter a chat area or a virtual exhibition booth, your presence will be made visible to others in the chat room or the virtual exhibition booth. By entering the virtual platform, you acknowledge that the information you shared is accurate (first and last name, country).

WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE VIRTUAL PLATFORM

  • Live-streamed sessions presented in real time
  • Within 36 hours after a session, all content* will be available as video on demand on the virtual platform (*Subject to presenter consent)
  • Access to the e-Poster Gallery

LIVE STREAM AND RECORDINGS:

Starting March 13th, the session recordings will be available exclusively to AD/PD™ Gold Track registered participants, on the AD/PD™ Education Portal on UNLOK. You can also find all past conference and webinar recordings on UNLOK. New to AD/PD™ on UNLOK? Please create your free account here. (important note: please register to UNLOK with the same email as your AD/PD 2024 Registration).

CONGRESS TIME ZONE:

Upon initial entry in the virtual platform, you can set the time zone to your local time.

E-POSTERS

The Virtual platform is designed to allow participants from all around the world to easily search and navigate the e-Posters. Send an e-mail with any questions directly to ePoster presenters and have your questions answered. Visit the EPoster Gallery and start a conversation!

NETWORKING LOUNGE

We welcome you to the online Networking Lounge. View the World Map, Connect with colleagues and fellow participants via text or video chat!

The credentials in this letter are personal and non-transferable. By signing into the platform, you agree to the Terms of Use.

Participants are requested to respect sensitive information and data that is not yet available to the public by following the guidelines. Please read the full Code of Conduct before joining the event.

PRESCRIBER / NON-PRESCRIBER

Support from pharmaceutical partners helps make this event possible. As such, it is important that we comply with the various codes and directives relating to the manufacturing, distribution, and marketing of pharmaceutical products. The Human Medicine Regulations 2012, (clauses 294-300) and the European Union directive (2001/83/EC, article 86) provides guidelines relating to medicinal products for human use. Within these guidelines is the restriction that access to pharmaceutical product marketing activities must be limited to only those participants licensed/authorised to prescribe or supply medicinal products.
All participants, with the exception of the exhibitors, are asked the following question during registration: Are you licensed/authorised to prescribe or supply prescription only medicines?
Within the virtual event platform healthcare professional authorised to prescribe prescription medicines will be recognized with a letter P (Prescriber) indicated after their names.
Within the virtual event platform, all exhibitors (booth admins) will be recognized with a letter E (Exhibitor) indicated after their names.

GUEST ATTENDANCE POLICY

All event activities (including educational sessions, meal functions, exhibit hall, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues, etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.

Liability and Insurance:

Please do not leave bags or suitcases unattended at any time, whether inside or outside the session halls. Hotels strongly recommend that you use their safety deposit boxes for your valuables.

The ADPD24 Conference Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
